July is right around the corner!   As always, this weekend is filled with some wonderful events and I have curated this list if you are looking for something to do or you just want to see what all you are missing.

With next Wednesday being the 4th, be sure to check out some of next week's holiday events.  What to know the best place to watch the fireworks?

Kailua-Kona keeps things hoppin’ with its annual Independence Day Parade & Fireworks Extravaganza, happening from 6- 9 p.m. Fun begins with a parade, and is is immediately followed by fireworks  over Kailua Bay.

Queens’ Marketplace is where I end up every year with my family and it is hosting its exciting 4th of Julycelebration again this year, opening gates at noon for an entire day of shared family fun, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display over Waikoloa Bowl at Queens’ Gardens.

Parker Ranch’s Annual July 4th Horse races & Rodeo, while not featuring fireworks, is still filled with so much to celebrate, including fast-paced horse races, rodeo events, pony rides, near endless food and more.

For those on the east side, Hilo Bayfront will be blocked off for a full day of fun, games, cook offs, music and more to celebrate July 4th. The big fireworks show over the bay is set for 8pm.

And if you have never been to the Mauna Lani Turtle Independence Day, it is a sight to behold. It's great fun for the whole family.  More information below!!

Our fine-feathered friends must not only paddle the length of the pond at Kings’ Shops, but fair the strong winds that are so unpredictable on the Big Island. For a $5 suggested donation, you can adopt your own darling little duckies and cheer him/her on to a victorious finish. There’s always great entertainment, prizes and an evening fireworks show!
